Clients and customers will become even closer at Seafood Expo Russia 2024

Clients and customers will become even closer at Seafood Expo Russia 2024
30 November 2023

Since the first exhibition, Seafood Expo Russia participants have been located on the square based on their type of activity. The exposition was opened by fishing and fish processing companies, and in the depths of the pavilion there were shipbuilding and ship repair enterprises, as well as manufacturers of equipment for ships and processing. Since then, the number of sections has doubled, and the number of participants has quadrupled. From 2022, the exhibition began to occupy two pavilions of the Expoforum Convention and Exhibition Center, while the structure did not fundamentally change from year to year.

Next year the exhibition organization will be updated. Now, in each pavilion, participants in the industry infrastructure sections will be located next to fishing companies and suppliers of fish products. Among them are not only equipment manufacturers and enterprises in the shipbuilding and ship repair industry, but also transport and logistics operators, packaging manufacturers and providers of other services for the industry. The aquaculture section will once again be housed in Hall G.

The new location will create a single space for all participants of Seafood Expo Russia and improve communication between them. This will make it easier to assess whether equipment meets industry needs.

The updated configuration will also help attract additional professional audiences and increase traffic in both pavilions. In addition, such an arrangement will make the exhibition space more dynamic and open up new opportunities for productive business communication between participants.

“The previous structure helped the exhibition grow and become a major international event in six years. But starting next year we will have two absolutely equivalent pavilions. On the one hand, this is due to the continued growth of the event, on the other hand, with the new needs of our participants. The exhibition is designed to help solve all problems on one site: not only to get new clients, but also to select suppliers of technical equipment. We can say that here our views and goals completely coincide,” said Ivan Fetisov, CEO of the Expo Solutions group of companies.

VII Global Fishery Forum & Seafood Expo Russia will be held on September 17-19 at the Expoforum Convention and Exhibition Center in St. Petersburg.

This year, the forum and exhibition were attended by 17,872 specialists from 85 regions of Russia and 75 foreign countries. The catching and processing section was the most popular – it was preferred by 26.4% of the audience. Aquaculture took second place (21.6%), third place went to shipbuilding and ship repair (16.5%). More than 350 companies from 37 regions of Russia and 16 countries of the world presented their products and services.
