Within the fishing forum in St. Petersburg, the Rosrybolovstvo (the Federal Agency for Fishery of Russia) plans to bring up for extensive discussion the development strategy vision of the Russian fisheries industry until 2030. The "Lenexpo" Exhibition Complex will be the venue for the International Fisheries Industry Forum and the International Exhibition of the fishing industry, seafood and technologies on 14-16 September in St. Petersburg. As reported from the Event Organizing Committee, for the first time Russia will be the host country for professionals of the world fishing industry and related branches. International organizations, delegations and companies of the largest fishing countries of Europe, Asia, Africa, North and South America are invited to participate in the exhibition and the forum. According to Petr Savchuk, the Deputy Head of the Rosrybolovstvo, the fishing forum will be a good opportunity to give voice to industry issues at the international level, to talk about trends in the global fish market and the development of cooperation. An extensive discussion of the draft concept of the Development Strategy of the fisheries complex of the Russian Federation till 2030 will be an important part of the business program. "The Leadership of the Rosrybolovstvo will deliver the strategic objectives. It is very important for the industry that these key documents to be considered as widely as possible, in particular within the framework of such major events as the forum," said Petr Savchuk.
