It is the largest national shipbuilding holding that consolidates most of the shipbuilding complexes in the Russian Federation. Design bureaus, special research centers, shipbuilding and ship repair yards as well as machine manufacturing enterprises provide the functioning of the whole Corporation from Kaliningrad to Khabarovsk.
Today, USC’s strategic aim is to increase the output of civil shipbuilding. Apart from the traditional directions in development of civil shipbuilding , the Corporation focuses on the renovation of the fishing fleet. Trough legislative initiates and leadership in shipbuilding industry, USC is ensured with civilian projects in the mid-term.
