Within the framework of Seafood Expo Russia 2021 business program Association of Food Sector Organizations (ASORPS) will hold number of events on issues of logistic and refrigeration industry.
The conference "Development of the Cold Chain for Perishable Food Products" will be held on September 8, from 12:30 to 15:30. Apart from ASORPS representatives, the conference will be attended by experts from the Russian Academy of Sciences and industry research institutes, representatives of the logistics sector, professional associations, Russian Railways LLC and GLONASS LLC.
Instant temperature control is necessary for a stable and efficient supply chain that will ensure the quality and availability of fish products throughout Russia. Its importance is dictated by features of Russian domestic market – big distances between fishing areas and regions of the main consumption.
Among the main tasks of the conference is to find complex solutions aimed at optimization of costs of fishing companies due to efficient logistics. The participants of the event will discuss technical and technological solutions for maintaining temperature conditions during storage and circulation of food products and an integrated approach to create a continuous cold chain.
The meeting of with representatives of ASORPS is planned at the end of the first day of Global Fishery Forum & Seafood Expo Russia 2021, on September 8, from 16:00 to 17:00. The main issue of the event is the organization of rail transportation of fish and seafood from the Far East in refrigerated containers. Discussion of the situation with the Far Eastern logistics within the framework of a separate meeting is associated with the significant volumes of fish caught, the restriction of its supply to foreign markets and the tasks of directing cargo traffic to the territory of central Russia.
Also, on the first day of the exhibition, a round table on refrigeration equipment will be held with leading companies-manufacturers of refrigeration equipment: Danfoss, Refcool, Thermocool.

IV Global Fishery Forum & Seafood Expo Russia 2021 is the largest event in the Russian fishing industry. The event will take place on 8-10 September 2021 at the Expoforum Exhibition and Convention Centre in St. Petersburg. The organizer of the event is the Federal Agency for Fishery with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, the operator is a full-cycle industry exhibition company Expo Solutions Group LLC.
