High-level official delegations will confirm the international importance of Global Fishery Forum

A number of Russia's key partners in the fishing industry will participate in IV Global Fishery Forum & Seafood Expo Russia 2021 as apart of high-level official delegations.

The delegation of the Faroe Islands will be headed by the Minister of Fisheries, it will also include Departments of fisheries and aquaculture representatives. The event will also be attended by the Minister of Fisheries and Agriculture of Iceland, Christian Thor Juliusson. Delegations from Iran, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau will be headed by the Ministers. Sierra Leone, Turkey and Chile also expressed their interest in visiting the event.

Leading international experts will participate in Global Fishery Forum: General Secretary of International Council for the Exploration of the Sea (ICES) Anne Christin Brussendorf, General Secretary of the Network of Aquaculture Centers in Central and Eastern Europe (NACEE) Peter Lengyel, Deputy Director-General and Head of Regional Office for Europe and Central Asia of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the UN (FAO) Vladimir Rachmanin, representatives of professional fisheries communities of Norway, China and Japan.

The IV Global Fishery Forum & Seafood Expo Russia 2021 is the largest event in the Russian fishing industry.

The partners of the event are Rosselkhozbank (General Partner), Sberbank (Partner Bank), Norebo Holding (Business Partner), the FEST Group (Strategic Partner), Sigma Marine Technology (Official Partner), Antey (Registration Area Partner), Oceanrybflot (Business program Partner), United Shipbuilding Corporation (Partner) and Dobroflot (Partner).

The event will take place on 6-8 July 2021 at the Expoforum Exhibition and Convention Centre in St. Petersburg and will be the first major fishing industry event in the world since the beginning of the pandemic.

Within the territory of IV Global Fishery Forum & Seafood Expo Russia 2021 in Expoforum EC will be implemented strict safety measures aimed at fighting the spread of COVID-19 infection. All categories of the participants (Organizers, Exhibitors, Delegates, Media, Personnel) will be able to enter the event only having negative Covid-19 PCR analyses results (method of polymerase chain reaction) made no earlier than 72 hours before coming to event or certificate of full vaccination cycle.
